Furniture: BUT opens its 20,000 m² logistics platform on September 22nd 2004 (Gaseley). This gives the company the opportunity to reorganise all its logistics. BUT will optimize its transport costs by the transfer from land to river, which should allow it to save from 15%-20% of its supply costs. The net result that this platform will serve and deliver to the 230 BUT shops and should employ about 40 people.
