IVECO - Bourbon-Lancy


Motors : From now until 2007, 41 million euro of investment is planned for the Bourguignon site, in order to increase capacity and develop a new generation of gas and diesel motors. This site, which employs 1,230 people, will eventually create about 200 jobs, of which about 50 are as from this month of September. Moreover, the FIAT group policy of protection of the environment will compel Iveco to secure the SIO 14001 certification.


KSDSE - Dijon


Car : 2 years ago KDSE, subsidiary of the Japanese group Koyo, opened its new production unit for electrical direction systems, which are today fitted in the Citroen C2 and C3 cars. It currently works with several European car manufacturers to equip other vehicles and will construct a second phase of equal area (10,700 m²), for an investment of 7 million euro, to be operational by the first quarter of 2005.


TRW - Longvic


Directional valves : Subsidiary of the American Blackstone group, TRW (automobile equipment manufacturer) who employs 240 workers, invested 2.5 million euro in the adaptation of its industrial tool geared to much greater productivity.


URGO - Dijon


Pansements : The main site of Laboratoires Urgo will be built in the periphery of Dijon, 30,000 m², (2 buildings), against an investment of 36 million euro. Its objectives are to reduce the volume of its stock by 20% to 25% and to double its capacity by means of new products so exceeding the current 5 innovations per year to about 10 a quarter. This company employs 600 people.
